When You Don't Need a Full Commercial Repaint Yet
Here's a stance most contractors won't put in writing: a fresh coat of commercial paint isn't always the right call, and we'll tell you when it isn't. If your building's coating is intact, adhering well, and just looks a little tired, a wash and a targeted touch-up on the failing elevations often buys you a couple more seasons for a fraction of a full repaint. If the failure is moisture getting behind the wall at a parapet cap or a failed caulk joint, paint over the top of that is money thrown away until the water problem is fixed. We'd rather scope the real fix than sell you a full recoat that peels again next winter.
